I apologize if this is a dumb question. I have a BV7 and BV10 connected by Masterlink along with a Beosound 5. One room has a Beoplay V1 that is not connected to the Masterlink system. I have a Beoport that I am not using as well as a Beosound 3000 I am not using.

I would like to have access to NetRadio in the room with the V1.

The two options I am considering are extending Masterlink to the room and connecting to Beoport or the 3000, and the 4000s.

Other option is to add an Apple TV to the V1.

Any other options I am missing?

Thanks!

Not a dumb question at all.

Having two B&O products in the same room without these being connected through ML or NL is always a fiddling.

You will have to deal with double commands and doble volumen controls.

The ATV on the V1 is a much easier way to go - even if it forces you to have the screen turned on, and to scroll to find your station(s).

But it would be much better to use AirPlay from an iDevice and the TuneIN radio app. If you don't have an iDevice yet, the small iPod Touch will be sufficient.

Alternatively you could connect a Bluetooth receiver to the A/V input (you'll need an adapter). Just assign that source to a button on your remote. Push the button and send the sound from a NetRadio app via any Bluetooth capable tablet/phone.

P.S. Why don't you connect the BL400's to the V1?

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Thanks! Sounds like ATV is the best option for me.
