BeoCom 6000 mark 1 - no caller ID

Hi All

A friend has a BeoCom 6000 mark 1 (pyramid base) which has worked perfectly for many years. For no apparent reason the Caller ID function stopped working mid December.

The base and handsets had software updated by B&O a few years ago and they confirm no updates have been released since then.

Anybody got any thoughts as to why Caller ID has stopped working?

Hello!

If there are no technical bugs on you friends phone it might depend on your local phone company; here at my place (Austria) you have to pay to get caller id...
