Hello there,

I just bagged myself a fantastic deal on a beocenter 2300 with a pair of beolab 2500s. When i am on the radio function, if i use any of the step or preset buttons, or the controls on the beo 4 (except from volume) the screen says illegal, so i cant set any presets or tune from my beo4 remote...

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It wont let me set any presets from the beocenter itself either.

The Beocenter's display will say "illegal" if you try to access a preset that doesn't exist (e.g. pressing "1", assuming nothing is stored there).

Perhaps you're trying to store a preset incorrectly.  Using the Beocenter's buttons:  1) Tune in the station you want to store  2) Press "Store"  3) Press the number you want to store it as - e.g. "1", assuming you have nothing stored there  4) Press "Store" again.  The display should say "Accepted"
