In the February/March 2015 issue of Sound & Vision magazine, B & O is featured on the cover. There is also a 6 page review (and brief B & O history) focusing on a B & O AV system. Specific B & O products that were tested were the BeoVision Avant 55 Ultra HDTV with motorized stand, (2) BeoLab 18, (2) BeoLab17, and (1) BeoLab 19.
What was especially good about this feature/review was detailed testing of all of the components and explanations of their features. Frankly, the B & O website seems to almost describe these components as artwork rather than describing what they can do. (This may be my own take from an American rather than European perspective.) For example, the lamellas on the BL 18 are present to aid in mid-frequency dispersion and are not there for "looks."
The only negatives (aside from system price which is given as $25,625) is lack of back lighting on the remote control. The wireless aspect of the speakers is discussed. While the amplifier power for each driver is noted, I think discussing the advantages of active (e.g. powered) speakers should have been included.
I think it was a good idea for B & O to get their products reviewed in the US. I see very little mention of them over here. If it wasn't for an earlier review of the BeoLab 5 (also in Sound & Vision magazine), I wouldn't have heard of the company and the unique products it makes. Hopefully, this review will get more people in the US interested in B & O products.

I remember loads of US films towards the end of the 1990s had Bang&Olufsen hifi systems or loudspeakers anthem - usually BL8000's. I know that Sony owns one of the largest companies over there but why aren't B&O featured in films anymore? Even B&O iPod/iPhone docks aren't in any films. Bizarre!
