Hi
I have a 1970's Beocenter 3500 fitted with an SP10 cartridge
The SP10 It is though only working on one channel (the phono stage on the amp is fine).
Are these cartidges repairable?
Thanks
M
Possibly though much easier to simply swap the cartridge body. Are you sure it is the cartridge? If so, I probably have a spare SP body floating around which I won't use. PM me your address and I'll send it to you. I cannot guarantee it works but I think it does!!

Hi Peter,
Not 100% sure its the cartridge (only just acquired the B&O) but have checked all connections with a continuity tester and it all seems OK. I have also checked the phono input by connecting another turntable and its fine.
I did wonder if its the lift/lower circuit as this shorts/unshorts the signal to turn it off whilst lowering but again all seems in order with the tester
If you have a spare body that would be great!
My address is below.
All the best
Mark
It won't do any harm to try another cartridge anyway - I'll test the one I have and if working will send it!
It works - I will endeavour to send it this week!
I have removed your address from your post so you don't get unsolicited mail!!
Hi Peter
Cartridge arrived today (nicely packaged too) and all is well!
Can't thank you enough. You are a true gent.
Just hoping now the belt I ordered is ok. Then just need to change those 100nf caps on the phono stage to brighten things up.
Best wishes
Very pleased it worked - it had been sitting in a box for years so glad it is being used!
