Just seen this on ebay seems a bit suspicious that the label as been torn so the serial number can't be seen. I'm concerned that its stolen. What do you people think?

Anyone want to send the serial number of the 4000 to B&O?

Hmm - If somebody wanted to sell a stolen item and had tried to peel off the sticker, I guess they wouldn't focus on the torn label...
On some of my older items the labels have started to come loose in the corners - and I have a CD 50 where the label had come off in one piece, simply because of ageing of the glue. Maybe the previous owner had just tried to peel it off, as the corner had loosened...Hmm
I have seen people doing stranger things than that to used items Huh?
-and you can see the serial number on the speakers.
And one can always ask the seller for a receipt.

...and more importantly, ask for the PIN code.

(and verify that it works)

BTW:

this auction ended at £565.21; really a bargain; IMHO the 4000s alone are worth that amount.

I reup this thread 'cause;since the winner of the auction didn't pay; i am the currently best offer.

I'm not scared about a possible fraud (paying with Paypal i'm protected); but where can i find a glass doors for the BS 3000 ?

And how much would it cost ?Even not an original one :); it's not important :)

That's a good one Steffen, people loose receipts as first thing ;)

Don't worry - be Happy
