This is a must-read for friends and owners of a newer BV with connected speakers:

There is a tv - and there is a BV

I edited the title of the thread.

Seems that noone noticed it - which would be a shame.

Excellent article - as always.

I dont think there is any other product out there that has SO advanced features to control sound.

And that will let you work with the settings. This is new from B&O and I really like that this option is possible.

One could hope that B&O will do the same for the video output signal also.

Thumbs up for Geoff here Yes - thumbs up

Thanks for the link.

I think it is fantastic. One thing is that B&O makes is possible for users to adjust the settings to the extreme (and not just having 5 speaker modes) but also that somebody at B&O takes the time to share things.

Yes - thumbs up to Geoff for that.

One could hope that B&O also would open up for the video engine. 95% of users might just use the standard, but having the option is of great value.

I agree

A) about Geoff

B) it would be a great brand advantage if the "Geoff"s from other parts of the Struer complex could feed us insights on their components / approaches

I am sure it would mutually beneficial

Hi,

Thanks for the appreciation! It's nice to know that it's worth the effort.

One comment: most of my work on this site and my own "B&O Tech" articles are done in my "spare time" - I have official approval from B&O to "go public" with the stuff I write - but it's not officially part of my day job - it's a hobby.

Cheers
