Hi,

I've had the above turntable since it was new, but haven't used it in years and years. Last week I put on an LP and though it had trouble finally staying on and playing, the speed was correct. Today, I put on an LP and the speed was too slow. I am thinking it needs a new belt. Anyone know where I can get one and how to replace it myself? Is it difficult?.

thanks!

Best thing is to get the manual, available for silver and gold members on site. Martin (Dillen) can provide the correct belt.

When you have the manual, open the deck clean off old grease and lubricate it, attach the new belt check the speeds and set down points, if needed adjust the sames.

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

It is likely you will need a new belt, but before you go with that have a look at the belt and see if it is cracked or overly stretched.

But Soren is right, source yourself a manual for adjustments, best to do the simple things first before moving onto the more difficult stuff!
