Anyone know where I can buy a 25mm  strip of "Rosewood" veneer  for a Beocenter 7002 ?  I realise it is illegal to sell the proper wood. But understand B&O used a different wood and dyed it.

It has become difficult, that's right. But there are still sellers around.
Look for Rio Palisander.

Thank you Martin, I did get some edging a while back, I think it may have been Rio Palisander but it was much to light in colour. I intended dying it but never found the right colour.  Has anyone found a good match or combinations of dye?

I found some here they have some sample packets 4"x8" and I used these for small repair jobs on rosewood and teak.

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.

Rio palisander is very close to what B&O used.
If you are replacing whole panels rather than doing minor patchwork, there's usually no need to dye it.

I intend replacing the whole panel but it will be housed in a SC70 unit if I can find one in Rosewood so it would need to be the same colour.  Not sure what edging strip I have, so I will look for Rio Palisander  edging strip.
