Copper BL18 and BeoPlay A9. Looks very nice. And I look forward to celebrate 90 years of BANG & OLUFSEN. Makes me feel that B&O won't go away anytime soon.
Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2, BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century, BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i, BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40, BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)
Oooh! That's pretty.
Looks much better in photos than the "Chantarelle" which was a similar color (albeit a bit muted, to my eye) to the one pictured in your post, Michael.
Where can I see more pictures?
New copper color or gold already used for limited series of BeoVision, BeoLab 5, Beo5... ?

Thanks Michael,
Very nice, indeed !
Do you know other new special products for the 90th anniversary ?

I wish they had made a copper BeoCom 2 before discontinuing it. I always thought a copper BeoCom 2 would be great in a kitchen with copper pots and pans.
There is finally a mini site showing the "Love Affair Collection". They speak about rose gold, I will have to look at it for real to know wether it's more copper (which I would prefer) or rose gold...

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Exactly MM... Unless some dealers can do some tricks with the ordering system ?
Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.
we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
Shouldn't be so difficult - we are using 'our B&O' all the time
I guess the celebration will last at least 24 hours.
All you have to do - Mark - is to start a new thread and post your pic.
Mark:anyone doing any home celebrations ? might be hard with the worlds time zones but could we all play, use our B&O's at the same time and upload pictures in honour of an outstanding anniversary ? we tend to forget there is more to design than designing.
@BeoBoy68 you scamp, you can well conceal that you have a new car in sight to celebrate that jubilee.

Aussie Michael: When is the 90th anniversary?
When is the 90th anniversary?
November 17th.
Beoworlders, I have to say it, I feel really sad about this 90th anniversary pack! This looks so wrong to me!
IMHO, B&O should go back to their brand values and design ethos focusing on creating innovative, audacious and classic pieces instead of trying to follow some kind of ephemeral trends. This Rose Gold is everything but timeless!
Obviously, this is very personal thoughts, I'm sure some people will like those products, it's just that I would have expected them to take this opportunity to release a future classic which would have change a bit the game.
Please B&O don't loose you DNA trying to be too fashionable. Chanel once said: "Fashion fades, only style remains" and I think she is so right!

I think B&O is marketing the "Love Affair Collection" to people who are already familiar with the brand. One can't have a love affair with something / someone they don't really know. Except for Gillian Anderson and I of course.
It was quite polarizing, to me at least, to see the green marble, contrasted with the rose gold / copper products. Although the products themselves look really good to my eyes, the treatment of the green marble seemed far too decadent and ostentatious. I'd have liked to see more art deco motifs, rather than over the top marble which creates an attitude of inaccessibility, IMHO.
I have one small wish: When B&O have the links to "explore the originals" on the page where they review the 6 products which bear the 90 mark, the "originals" they should be linking to pages which display and tell the story of the actual original products which inspired the new ones. So people unfamiliar with the brand can see the evolution to today.
For example:
Beolab 18 --> explore the original --> Beolab 8000
Beovision 11 --> explore the original --> Beovision 5
Beovision Avant --> explore the original --> Beovision Avant (David Lewis)
BeoRemote One --> explore the original --> A retrospective on B&O classic remotes (Beolink 1000, Beolink 5000, beolink 7000, MCPs, etc)
I'd love to see quotes from Lewis, and other designers, pictures from back catalogs, a walk down memory lane, rather than just glossy marketing with a new color.
Just got an invitation today to see the Love Affair Collection (in the flesh) in an event in three weeks time.

Saw the BL18/rose-gold today.
On display in a shop window - the shop was closed as I went by.
They are beautyful!
Note: 'beautyful' is a word, that I seldom use.
The rose-gold colour is really astonishing!
Millemissen: The rose-gold colour is really astonishing!
StUrrock:Reminds me of the Duracell battery advert.. "The ones with the copper coloured top"
I never thought that I would like a color like the rose gold or maybe it is copper. However I am thinking of buying the BL18s and maybe the Beovision 11 in rose gold. Not too long ago I would have thought this color might be too much bling. Things change and people change.
For those who don't like the rose gold, at least it shows that Bang and Olufsen might produce other colors for the BL18 and Beovisions.
A short contribution...
I was in Copenhagen over the weekend (lovely place, full of beautiful people!) and was very impressed with the flagship B&O store. They had most of the 90 years products on display and I really think the rose gold A9 looks fantastic. Not completely convinced about the TVs, but the BeoRemote in rose gold is worth considering.
Got to get back to Copenhagen again. Such an impressive destination. Bought a pair of H8's over there.

Moxxey, I've been to Copenhagen three times and still not managed to get to the B&O store!
It will be interesting to hear your experience with the H8's after some other contributors have had problems.
