Hi all,

Today I noted that the red light in the display (indicating on/off) on my Beocenter 2 is flashing all the time.

Even if I turn the power to it off and on again. As soon as it is on, the light starts flashing again.

There is nothing in the manual indication reasons for a flashing red light, except where is says is flashes when I touch a button or turn the wheel.

Does anyone know what the reason can be, or know where I can find supplementary information about it ?

Regards

Soren

It certainly sounds like the power was disconnected for an extended time and the PIN code has to be re-entered. The PIN code is 4 digits long.

Indeed it was the pincode that needed to be entered again.

Thank you for the help !

Today I have the same problem.

The PIN request came up on the screen and then disappeared as I had to go an find it....

Now all I get is a flashing red light!! I try putting in the PIN on the unit, nothing? Have read somewhere that I should probably power it off for 3 hours and try again, will try that as well.....

My dealer went bust of course, so any ideas from the forum in case this doesn't work?

Cheers

Gary

Turned the power off overnight, reconnected everything and still the same problem.....

Any ideas?

Hi

If your Beocenter loses memory, it could also be a battery problem.

Thanks - how do I replace the battery?

Sorry, I don’t know Huh?

My BS Ouverture showed weird behaviour and it was because of the battery...
