Welcome to Beoworld.

The Encore needs a DLNA server running on your Mac in order to access the music files.

Please install a server (do a search on 'DLNA on Mac'), and point it to your files in the settings.

The server will index the files - might take some time depending on how many files you have.

Then do a search on the Encore for available servers, and choose the installed one.

Do remember, that if your files were organized through iTunes, you will need to put a 'cover-pic' into the album folder (just call it folder.jpg) - otherweise you won't see much on the display of your device.

Have a look at page 22 of the Encore userguide!

And of course the server/Mac and the Encore must be on the same network.
