Hi all. Well I purchased my first bando product a few week ago. A beautiful BeoVision 1 with floor stand and the very minimal remote :) like a good number of people buying slightly older TVs it's for retro video gaming.
the consoles work great on it but it seems a bit like the picture has been pulled a couple of cm to the left so text in top left corner has no margin etc like on the right hand sideso wondering if there's any form of service menu etc where this can be realigned.
Also read on another site this TV has svideo - but with no svideo socket would svideo to scart work or is the mention of svideo I've seen an error
Thanks in advance.
Michael
Anyone :)
Hi there.
I think you'll need a Beo4 remote (or Beolink 1000) to get to the service menu. Then you go to "Setup" in the TV screen menu bar. Press "0, 0, GO".
Then you'll have the service menu. Choose "MONITOR" and then "GEOMETRY ADJUSTMENTS".
Thanks for the info. I do have a remote but it's the very minimal thing has up down left right go then display. Up down. Standby...

Yes, I know. And that's why I wrote that you need one of the "real" B&O remotes, instead of that minimal one " />
You need one of these:
Damn! Bet they cost double what I paid for tv l!
Would both work with my TV automatically? Thsbks
Both Work fine with your tv.
Secondhand remotes can be found quite cheap. Depending on where you live.
Thanks - the 1000 Seems to be much cheaper so could get one of them. Few on eBay have mk2 /mk3 though. Would this make a difference to it workings?
A mk3 would be best, as it has a dedicated "Menu" button. On the mk2 you'll have to press "shift" + another button (which I cannot remember right now) to get the menu function. But then again -you can use the mk2 if you want.
Hi,
on a MK2 Beolink 1000 <SHIFT> and then <TEXT> gives the <MENU> function
