Hi,
I recently purchased a Beocenter 5000. It's in great condition (aside from the, seemingly standard, non functioning tapedeck). I'd really like to open the unit up and give it a good service - swap out the majority of the electronic components, clean up the PCB's if they need it etc so that I can keep the unit running and potentially improve performance in the meantime.
I'm confident with the electronics side of things and have a circuit diagram. My question is: How do I open the thing up without risking damage? I thought I'd located 4 screws on the back of the unit the should release everything and let me open it on hinges but...no joy...
Am I missing something obvious? Any advice would be much appreciated (if there are any picture guides out there that would be really helpful!!)
