Found this one, and it looks pretty nice. http://www.satechi.net/index.php/satechi-bluetooth-button-series-media-button

Wonder if it is so small that it can be mounted on the rear of a Beo5.

Unfortunately, shipping costs to Europe is more than the product itself :(

Guess I have to wait until it has been on the market a bit longer

I know, but paying 31  usd for a 26 usd product is plain stupid.. They ship free within the US, but not to Europe.

But it looks really nice :)

You can use the Essence remote (wall- or tableversion) as a bluetooth remote controller for your tablet/phone, too!

And what would be the benefits of that?

Streaming music from your phone to your stereo. And using the BT-controller to skip songs and control volume.

I did not get it yet. Should come this week.

Thanks!

Do you mean 'streaming via bluetooth to the stereo from your phone/tablet (or wired via dock) and controlling the phone/tablet with the 'wheely'?

Would be nice, if you could post more details, when you have it working.

Currently I have my iPhone streaMing spotify to my ATV. I am able to skip songs with my Beo4/5. Able does not mean flawlessly.

By mounting the BTC on the back of the Beo5, I am hoping it will give me remote control of my iPhone.

I will post more when I have received it Smile

I received the Satechi Media Button today. Connects via Bluetooth to your phone. Have not yet attached it to the Beo5, but that is the plan. I will use Sugru for the attaching. (If you don't know what Sugru is, Google it, it is an amazing new way of fixing things).

I see several uses for this Media Button. First of all with the Beo4/5/6, but also with the Beoplay A2 and the Beolit 15. I have previously expressed my frustration of the lack of forward and backwards buttons on the A2, looks like those days are over.

The buttons give a nice feedback when pushed. Solid build-quality. It comes with a mount for steering wheels, and a string for your keychain (or A2/BL15)

Looks nice except on the Beo 4. ;-)

I really like the wheel mounting option for the car.

Can you change the battery of this thing yourself?

Yes. One screw under it. The battery should last for 2 years.

It does look horrible on the Beo4. Just wanted to show how it is in size.

Oh, and Made in Korea!

Thanks for the pictures! At home one could use the Essence remote, too, but for traveling, car etc. this is great!

Is the case made out of plastic or aluminium?

Aluminum. It feels very light, but solid.
