Please Help !!!I have BeoSound 9000 type 2521 MK1 that when you switched ON power switch it placed in st.by function and when you want to put radio, cd or aux the relay switches on function for 2 seconds and immediately turns off. Do you have an idea what would it be wrong?Otherwise, i'm little familiar with electronics but these errors have not repaired.
But I changed several CD units on BS9000.
Thanks for any kind of help.
Does the lid raise when you press the button, I had a similar problem it turned out to be a blown ic on the motor control board (pcb 35) however that wasn't the end of it, that ic also took out (pcb 5 mains relay) totally vaporised a diode +the pcb tracks and connectingmwire! Your BS 9000 Is by no means now a write off but wil need someone who is proficient with a avo to establish the correct voltages as per the diagrams.
Sorry to hear your news Regards Maurice
Hi Maurice,
When I turn on the main power switch makes 2x klik and place it in st.by. Glass can be raised and lowered. Cd sleds can be run without any problems. The problem arises when I turn on the radio, CD or Aux function. The relay turns on and after 2 seconds again turns off the function. BeoLab 4000 is also switched on and switched off again immediately. I have the service manual but only for the MK3 version :(.
So there is a problem in the PCB 5?
I really would not like to rejected such a beautiful unit :(
One more data..
Remote works with no problem.
Anyone any idea?
Hi,
marexy: ...Remote works with no problem. .....
...Remote works with no problem. .....
does this mean that you press CD (or radio) on the remote and it starts flawlessly?

I'm sorry
This means that is receiving a signal.
The unit does not operate no differently than the manual controls.
I do not know where begin .... should I look if the power supply voltage if they are correct? I do not have MK1 service manuals.
Has anyone already had similar problems?
I have same problem, i have a error in Tm27, thats says err pwr 20.
i think it is the power supply thats broken, and i dont think you can buy them any more.
please return, if you fix the problem.
Morten
If you have a faulty powersupply from a BS9000, I can help.
I've already repaired at least a dozen of them.
My Beosound is doing roughly the same thing after years in storage. When I power it on, it cycles through standby + power on. Doesn't respond to anything but sometimes I can open the lid (which closes almost immediately because of the cycling). I can hear the relay clicking on / off so perhaps it is just the relay that is dead.
I was trying to find info on where to start.

Bert
