oh, dear...  Their Royal Charter is also up for renewal in 2016, the BBC's future is up in the air.

Luckily enough, I can still receive BBC 3 on my BS3200 in analog quality and now digital on the Moment.

I'm afraid that I have always had problems with the BBC web broadcasts, which even before this latest problem were generally of low quality and subject to frequent breaks causing rebufferring. By comparison, the one man band at Radio Paradise, Bill Goldsmith, does an amazing job broadcasting in a huge number of formats and qualities.

The BBC is a bloated machine with overpaid staff. Their occasional masterpieces like the TV 'Wolf Hall' do not make up for the poor service that their radio output has become. If one man can provide a Rolls-Royce internet radio service, why not the BBC?

All still work great on the TuneIn app. The upgrade app is great as it allows you to record programmes that you are listening to and add them to your iTunes! Plus, certainly on the iPhone / iPad, it's rock solid!

I think the BBC is fantastic. A selection of good TV channels with some of the best broadcast material, no ads and also Radio 1 through 6. Not to mention the local stations. Radio 4 is worth the license fee alone. The fact it is criticised by both left and right wing parties must say a lot for its impartiality.

Shame about iPlayer but still working fine the way I use it.

I agree Peter from the viewpoint of the BBC's normal broadcasting. Their web radio broadcasting is, however, a shambles. Not to mention the long standing DAB quality issue.
