No, Lund actually. But I like the Ängelholm store also, but I work closer to the boutique in Lund :)

Chris Townsend:White speakers for a 10, which has a black frame!!! Hint hint Tue

Haha actually he just wanted to show me how they match in size. The speakers are going to be hung on a wall with a silver bv10 with white speaker cover on.
He actually unpacked the speaker just because I asked to see how the speaker looked! I agree the color mix here is awkward but as I said, just to see the size match :)
Chris Townsend:They look even better in white I think. Very smart and clean looking.
Agreed, they do look good in white! They are not anodized like with other colors(on other products) but painted instead.
I think this is done so they don't need to discard speakers where the aluminum has visible imperfections in the finish.
This was done on the beovox cx50/100 also because it was so hard to create perfectly blank aluminum structures.
I might be wrong about the reason but think that is a perfectly good idea, environmentally friendly and everything, and also quite fun.
Theese speakers could make a really bold impression in anodized colors, imagine them in purple or perhaps orange :)

On the Struer tour they explained that "white" is the absence of a colour, and that is why they can not imbed it into the aluminium - and so they use paint.
Until the tour I had never realised the level at which this aluminium process works ... the anodizing colour is infused into the molecular (atomic?) structure of the aluminium !

I really love the BeoLab 12 but can't hold them on my lounge wall.
So, i'm dreaming of a floorstand version of the BL12...

I hope your dealer is right !
The problem is that the design must be change.
Because the woofers are currently placed in the rear section, to get an acoustic benefit.
With a floorstanding design, the woofers would be in front, like all the other BeoLab.
We'll see...

I don't see why the woofers can't stay on the back of the unit. That is the beauty of them (even if they are not exactly my favourite design or even near).
