I guess the photo is supposed to 'illustrate' how sound usualla bounces around in a room - and what we will hear (with the new speakers) is the attempt to control this chaos in order to improve the experience of the sound at home.

Unless they are one of the most remarkable speakers ever made and not just intended to raise B&O's profile I can't imagine a market for them.
If B&O have got it wrong at this price their reputation will sink like a stone. If they are truly exceptional it will lift all their products and profile.

If they really are £50000 plus then that rules me out completely; far beyond my budget despite saving up over the last year or so. I guess I will have to look at non-B&O alternatives. Such a shame.
If they are as expensive as people state then I really hope it is the right strategic and financial move for B&O and it does well for them (even if it rules me out).

They surely won't please everybody with these speakers - especially not the 'hardcore-stereo-sitting-in-the-sweetspot-all day-guys'.
And P.S. The price rules me out too - anyway, I am very eager to hear these and to experience, what the sound-guys in Struer deliever as a beginning of a new generation BeoLab.

No plans for that - not that I know of.
I guess they will keep it, as long as it sells ok.

Not in Sweden. The price given are for two speakers, unless it is a solo speaker.
