hi

Im would like to try and use my old Beolab 7.1 with my Panasonic TV, I'm guessing I'm going to have to come out of the headphone socket but how do I get the speaker to switch on?.

regards

chris

Just check with the Panasonic TV that when you plug in headphones (as a test) that you can select headphones as a source and use your remote for the volume.

With my old panasonic you could... it's rare that you can do that .

Cheers

Update, sorted it myself.

got a 3.5mm jack connected to a mk3 powerlink then took a old usb cable plugged into TV and used the 5v off that.

so now I have switching on off of speaker when the TV turns on and off.

Cheap as chips!!
