Hi I want to retune my MX3500, but I cant seem to get to the tuning menu.

When I press 'Menu' on the remote control, I get the following screen:

I can't figure out how to get to the tuning menu. Any help is greatly appreciated.

For reference here is a picture of the model number and remote control.

Thanks!

It's actually easier with the older remote - the Beolink 1000.  With that, you press 'TV', then 'go to' and the tuning menu appears.  Use the L and R arrows and then 'store'.  I don't know if you can do this with a BEO4 remote?

Dave.

It's a bit of a guess but have you tried adding V.SETUP to the LIST function of the Beo4.  If I select that on my Beo4 the screen changes to TUNE.

(I don't have an MX3500, hence why it's a bit of a guess!)

thanks for the reply. I tried that already and tuning worked. But i want to use this as a retro console screen. So mainly i try to access the menu for contrast and brightness settings. I could not find this setting in the list function of the remote.

Hmmm.  Have you tried adding STAND to the Beo4 LIST and pressing that?  In some contexts that will replace PICTURE, which is the command that you need.

If you select V.SETUP and then press LIST twice, the Beo4 should state PICTURE, which is the command that you need to adjust those settings.

Ha ha!  B&O sometimes don't make things simple, but they used to take 'backwards compatibility' quite seriously so there's usually a workaround.  I hope it works!
