Dear Forum,

imagine the BS5E Power Link beeing patched via RJ45 B&O Power Link distribution module to two BEOLAB 18. This is planned to be a stand alone solution. Howerver I am thinking about connecting more Speakers.

My Questions:

1.) Is it possible to simply patch additional two or four active power link speakers to the same BS5E playing simultaniously with the (central) BEOLAB 18 (e.g. in the batch room or kitchen if you want).

2.) Is there a powerlink distribution module out there wich is able to do this?

Any ideas, questions or comments from you are greatly appreciated.

1: absolutely - since each speaker has it's own amplifier(s) and is configured as right or left speaker.

2: simply use the PL-out on the speaker to daisy chain - or use a PL splitter.

Thank you for the warm welcome MM and good news.

Guess you are expecting my follow up question...

First a short explanation upfront> The distribution to the speakers will happen in a kind of a technical room where the patch panel is build in and the CAT7 cables from all rooms come together. I would patch the BS5E Power Link line to a PL distribution module or splitter if you want. And from there back to the PL line of the loud speakers in the patch field. All with RJ45 cables, foiled, shielded, grounded, all this what is necessary. All RJ45.The BO distribution module I have seen does this. But for two speakers at a time only. I hope that link to the documentation works. It is a complete book but in there you can see where the module will sit for that. http://www.google.de/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&ved=0CDMQFjAD&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.beostore42.hu%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F10%2FBeoVision_Avant55_Adatlap.pdf&ei=p7MYVeTcAcP4aJ7LgcAG&usg=AFQjCNEBzdxmnsfofAYbClHlvaQhtl112A

No my question. I would rather like to have a pure RJ45 splitter or a distribution module distributing to more than 2 speakers but covering all necessary quality features to have a proper audio transfer. Have you ever seen such a thing...
