Good evening all !
I've just realised that it's my turn to lose the illuminated Preset 19 from Radio programme display on the BeoCenter 9500 ?:~(
I read a post a while ago reporting similar problem but I cannot find it this eveining ?
Is it likely to be a set-up error on my part , or a component-fault ??
Any advice on how to get the Number 19 radio-station to display again will be very much apreciated.
Ciao for now,
Zorb.
Does the 19 light up when playing a CD ?If not, run the display test from the test mode (see the service manual). My guess is that the LED has simply died.
Martin
Hi Martin,
thanks for feedback !
When I key 1 ...9 (19) on the remote, the No. 19 blinks for about 10 sec. in the red display , then fades, and that segment of the display remains dark ! So the LED is working under certain conditions, and this is the strange thing about this aparently popular fault.
I'm sure (hopeful) someone in the forum will recognise the bahaviour and post a solution, as I'm not alone with this prob. It was recurring in the BC9000 earlier.
I havent tried it with a CD track 19 ? I will try that this evening and report-back.
Kindest regards
Zorb
I seem to remember that if you have not got a station programmed in to 19 then the number will not display.
Regards Graham
What Graham just said.
Good evening Graham / Martin .
Graham, you were bang -on-the-money !
Last week whilst storing a local station I must have accidently deleted the preset for No.19.
On your (and Martin's) advice I was able to save a station on 19 and now it behaves correctly.
Shame that this behaviour is not mentioned in any owners or service manual, at least none that I've read.
Anyways, again grateful thanks for considering my post and giving me peace-of-mind.
All the best to you both
Good job !And thanks for reporting back. Others will no doubt benefit from it.
