Can anybody point out what the differences were with these types? I know the mk3 was hd ready.
thanks
Aren't they all HD-ready..? I think they all have 1280 x 768 pixels resolution. I think the difference is that the mk3 had a HDMI socket. I don't know if there were any difference in the quality of the panels - maybe. But not in the resolution.
mk III was actually Beocenter 6-26. mk IV has two HDMI sockets and fully HD ready also had another LCD panel.
MK 1 was not HD ready, only HD ready when using using DVI.
MK II had another Scaler module and besides DVI also had a 3 color component connection and was HD ready.
Hi, Fritz was right in his answer apart from the fact that Mk2 also was not HD Ready, only MK 1s & 2s upgraded later with the HD Ready Kit i.e New Scaler and software S.W 8 upwards were able to open the DVI socket in the Menu for HD-Ready sources with puc control i.e V-Aux, Sat ect, MK1s & 2s without could only use DVI HD with PC command without HDCP.
