Hi all I'm going to be moving me TV onto the wall in me bedroom and looking at getting something for the sound, wondering what speakers are good for this as been looking at beolab range 7.1/7.2 or 3500 etc the TV is only 32 inch so don't want anything massive so any help would be great thanks

I am using a BL7.2 as soundbar for my Samsung tv, optical out from the tv, into a Beosound 3000 via optilcal->coax converter.

The sound is perfect...

For a 32 Inch TV a 7-1 will look much better (was offered like this with Beovision 7-32).

Can the Beolab 7 series speakers only be used as center speakers or as full stereo speakers? I've never heard them.

I think the Beolab 3500 will - sound wise - only be usable as a sound bar or center speaker for a small room as it has not the best sound for loud action movies. :)

They are full-blown stereo speakers - and can be used as center speakers, if set in the configuration.

Note: the 7-4 is a dedicated center speaker.

The BL3500 could be used, but to set it up as a 'normal' speaker is a bit tricky - and not worth it, imo.

Think of the current prices for the 7 series and go for the 7-1 - you won't regret that.

There is a tv - and there is a BV

Thank you Millemissen and I hate you for that information: Now I've started to think of buying a Beolab 7-1 or -2. Wink
