My BL3500 suddenly do not react to commands from the remote. Tried with several, so there is no problem with the remote. Tried to power off/on. No joy.

Looked in the Service Manual and is seams easy to replace the board with the IR receiver.

Is it easy?

No soldering?

Is it possible to still order from B&O?

Common problem with these. I repaired several.

New boards are available, but don't know if the newer versions works with the older 3500's.

Thanks.

Is it just to pop in a new board or are there soldering required?

From what serial number should the new boards work?

No soldering required.

Sorry, I don't know about the serialnumbers between mk1 and mk2.
