Hi All, I have a BC4600 with the usual stuck buttons, that I removed and cleaned. I also removed the guides to make it easy to clean, I just sprayed IPA into the buttons and worked them on the guides.  Then while cleaning the switches with switch cleaner and working them a   small piece shot out.

The small piece of plastic is not broken and looks like a triangular pointer 20mm  long with 2 rectangle pieces stuck on the side and a small round peg between. I suppose it could have come a string drive.  Plastic piece came from behind the MIKE socket and near the mains switch.

I had to undo the two screws holding the 4 tuning presets to remove the Guides

I have the parts diagram and can not see anything like this small pointer. Anyone .know what it might be and where it goes?

A photo of the part would be nice.

Sorry for the guessing game, but I always have difficulty in sending pictures. I will try tomorrow.
