Questions about Creation 5 app

I only now stumbled over the Creation 5 app. Noticed that the developer is on this forum. Would be great to understand a few things:

1) Does the app actually play videos and music  on the iphone/ipad or is "just" an intermediary/controller to stream from an UPNP server to an UPNP client?

2) Does it display coverart for albums and artists?

3) Does it support albumartists or only artists?

4) How does the stream work? NAS->ipad->BS5? Or NAS->BS5? In either case, do I need to keep the ipad on? What happens if I receive a call?

5) I saw support for iphoto. With iphoto being discontinued, will it soon support the photos app? Does iphoto/photos needs to be open or does it access directly the library file?

6) Any support for apple cloud photo planned?

7) Are itunes playlists supported? If so, how does would this work?

8) Is a universal app for iphone and ipad planned?
