Considering a moment

i am considering a beosound moment but I have loads of thoughts that I wonder if anyone could fill in.

i have a ML setup and no Netlink products, currently I play music from spotify to an airport express connected to A.Auv on a beosound 4. That is all the BS4 seems to get used for as I don't listen to analogue radio or CD.

The beosound 4 is very under utilised, I have a pair of Penta connected and play music over ML through the entire house.

any thoughts on the below questions / statements:

 

has as anyone connected the moment to the beolink gateway?

Can the moment send music over ML?

can the moment be actives from ML rooms against Radio and AAux button pressed.

would I need a beolink converter and delay box.

the beosound 4 sends the source name to the display in the penta can the moment do this?

if I replaced the BS4 with a beolink active can it tell the speakers what source is playing?

does the moment get assigned an option?

Today the BS7 is only allowed in one option or the gateway cannot control it.

In contrary with a ML system add a BLC and a Moment you will not have to wait until the update! If you had a NL BV I would agree with MM, but not with your setup.

I overlooked, that there is no NL product (yet) in the setup

So I need to find out of the AAux will also be displayed on the penta speakers if connected directly to the moment.

If I connect some speakers to the moment and ML network then I will need the delay box????

Just saw the moment in Northampton and I do like it with the screen up, I'm not a fan of the wood finish.

I also saw the beolab 18 with black "frets" rather than the wood they looked lovely

Also a beovision 11 for my bedroom will be a good replacement to my Beovision 3 that the gateway cannot control or receive commands from.
