I have noted that some CDs stick in the CD drawer and you have to unplug the player and hold the drawer upside down to get the CD out. This is a real pain at times. Is it due to cheaper CDs that are thinner - I have taken off the CD player and replaced it with my CD 50 which is working perfectly. Any views on this to stop this happening or is it just a hiccup with this player?
Thanks David Flynn

A weak belt or voltage to the loading mechanism?

As I read it, it's not the tray failing to open but the CDs sticking to the tray?

Problem has been remedied - clearly some CDs are very thin and this caused the problem with particular CD. The rest of the CDs work perfectly. This particular CD appeared to have 'jumped' out of the CD holder tray and was lodged too far back. When switched CD player off and turned the player upside down, the drawer opened and out fell the rogue CD.
Thanks
