Hi

I was going to get my beomaster serviced with new bulbs etc however, last night my BG4004 - just stopped - I have yet to check the motor but wondered if it was interchangeable between a BC7700 or BG1500 - they have different part numbers looking at service manuals but didn't know if it could be swapped with one of those of where I would get a new one.

The unit receives power and the arm moves and lowers, just the turntable doesn't go round. It has had new trimmers and the relay which did cause fluctuations, has been temporarily by passed so running on 33 only. I have a spare 7700 that needs too much work to get up and running so thought about using the motor from that if it is compatible. Also not sure if there is a compatible relay unit in it

Any help much appreciated.

Quick update on this - the motor does work, it just makes a crunchy type noise and doesn't seem to have enough power to turn the turntable - so is it easy to try and repair it and could it be changed for one of the others mentioned above?

Any help very much appreciated
