There a a few scrathes on my new Beolab 2. Is it possible to remove them in any way? They are on the bottom, so not that noticable, but if it is easy to remove them, it would give me peace of mind.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Two questions as I also owned a BL2 in the past and had one scratch / mark.
How deep are the scratches, are they a different color than the silver paint?
Are they actually scratches, or detritus on the finish which merely looks like scratches?
Sometimes, the act of removing the marks / scratches can leave the BL2 in worse shape than leaving the mark alone.
Its luckily on the bottom, I would buy some dark grey silver and black paint from a modeling shop. They sell these colours in small tins, and mix some black in to the silver. First do a few tests in color mixing on a piece of plastic, then try to update the scratches with a fine brush.
