I have a Beogram 5000 and when it play a record it is not quite up to regular speed... I thought it was the belt, so I ordered one. It played the same way.. I now believe that the motor is not working right. SO...I am looking for a motor on the web, but have no luck...Is there a variable speed control on the Beogram 5000.. I couldn't find one... Asking if any of the club members has a motor for sale.. If not, I'll probably sell it for the cartridge and parts, though I hate to do that.......Thank for looking...Bobbio
Welcome to Beoworld.
If you look underneath your BG5000, you will see 2 holes, marked '33' and '45'. You can use those to adjust the speed.
