Evening chaps ................... Happy Wednesday© to you allSmile

OK - so this is a Wednesday© Thred, it normally happens over in it's own forum but tonight we're having it here to try to drum up new customers - the thred will be moved to it's rightful home at the end of the evening.

The idea is that we discuss any old nonsense, there is no such thing as being off topic, although there is always an opening question to get the ball rolling, we may stick with it we may not as the evening rolls on.

Wedrools© are as follows - although this is a B&O forum, mention of B&O or AV in general, along with cars, watches and especially anything Apple or computery in nature are all definitely banned. I'm sure there are other banned topics but we'll point them out if the crop up with a loud "Woop"!!Big Smile

Now to the point, tonight's opening question - what's your favourite line or lyric from a popular song ...................... simple as that!

Over to you and we'll see how this goes!......................

Ahh, a proper WedThred! There has been very little snow on the south coast this winter, so most of the droppings have apparently been carried away by rain and shoesoles, leaving very little to be revealed.

Electronic instruments get better and better. I'll bet it cost less than a single piano tuner visit.

The GF commissioned me to get her one, and some time ago I managed to find her a second hand Yamaha Arius. It was so much fun that I wanted one for myself. This morning I went to a nearby music shop to see a similar model they had on sale, but that escalated quickly - they had all the models lined up, and after a little while I decided the better keyboard action was worth the extra money...

Seems like you cannot give away regular upright mechanical pianos anymore.
