The Apple Watch has been discussed under Lifestyle's Watches thread and also Philippe is surging ahead on Home Integration to get the Watch to talk to the MLGW and the NLGW (or whatever it's called).

Today I pestered my dealer for a test my watch with the H8 ... and as an afterthought the Moment.

Both worked just fine once we figured out the Watch's controls - although the Watch froze early on and needed a reboot.

H8/Watch range seemed limited (10 paces) and I had to learn to stop dropping my wrist -- the screen was still live and it seemed like the heavy cuff of my leather coat kept hinting pause so I had to change the use case to sleep the screen with my palm before dropping my arm.

With both Moment and H8 I was able control volume, skip, and pause from my wrist Smile

I'm curious and it's "interesting" to see that the Apple watch freezes and needs a reboot for such a simple task!?

Music-control and Bluetoothstreaming of the music from a watch works flawlessly on my old Motorola Motoactv Sportswatch - and it is from the year 2011!

So, it's somehow funny to see that the more modern products have problems with such basic tasks.

I was not happy.

However the dealer's response was "welcome to the world of BlueTooth".

I agree with you it should not have happened - at the same I was fumbling around with how to pair, and the dealer was fumbling with the two H8s as he was unsure if they had been sufficiently charged. All the external indications were that the connection was dropping out during establishment because the H8's battery was run down from the weekend.

After the reboot and taking a slower careful approach it synced perfectly.
