Hello,

Having changed some Elcos. and some resistors after a working point potmeter burn off, I still want to know if anybody sells the output transistors mentioned above? They may be defective too, as the left amplifier hums and no regular signal passes through. The rest of the amp. seems to work well.

For what I know, then Beocenter 1600 is based on Beomaster 1100, and the Beomaster 1100 uses BD697/BD698. They should be available.

But why not measure them with a transistor tester? And the good thing about having one channel that works is that you can compare the voltages between the faulty and the working channel.

Burning resistors? Sounds like you have a short circuit somewhere.

Happy "debugging".

The BD... has a different way of mounting and won't fit.

We do ask for a minimum membership level of silver to place sales/wanted ads.
