Would it be possible to import some existing threads on the old forum to the new one?
maybe the software thread and flash your Bang and olufsen.
could they be imported to the wiki to carry them on or as threads in the new forum.
on that note why can the old forum not be imported into the new one?

Partly because it was starting to fall apart! You may have noticed that high post count members had stopped posting - this was because the way the forum worked meant that they were continually timed out! The old forum will still be available and searchable. However you cannot continue threads - I dare say you can link to them though. Let's try one! The turntable thread!
