BeoSound5 will not update

Had to perform a recovery on my BS5, it's now back to sw 4.0xx

it's registered and on the network can log into service mode and connect to the Internet, but will no update the software?

Any ideas?

As far as I remember you have to be at least on 5.xx to perform an online update today, unfortunately.

To update from previous versions the recovery has to be updated manually to a more recent version first.
This is only possible with a special software tool that only B&O dealers/technicians have.

Do you know if there is anything one can do to avoid this?  Perhaps force a restore point (if a bm5 restore is based on a windows restore)?  I would hate to "fix" my device only to leave it crippled by not being able to update.
