My parents have a Avant DVD 28 RF (in black) which doesn't always come on first time, sometimes it does but usually you get sound, but a snowstorm picture, the TV needs to be turned off and back on and then usually (sometimes you have to turn off/on once, other times it takes a few goes and a wait a few minutes inbetween), before you get a full picture.
My parents now have a new TV, so want to get rid of the Avant and it seem a shame to tip it. Does anybody want it, or can make use of it? Cosmetically the TV is in excellent overall condition, NO remote, brackets, etc are included in the above offer.

TV is located in Reading (approx 5 min from Junction 12, M4) and MUST be collected.

I might be interested in the dvd-unit if the TV is going to be thrown away. I have a 32" dvd with a broken dvd and I need a new player to make it work as new :)
Guess it is not a good idea to ship it to sweden anyway but perhaps :)
