I did Paul. It works on my phone but it says "stopped" on the tv. A shame that we don't have the same radio's on different devices.

Great discovery! Just added it to mine.

How many unadvertised/ under-reported features do B&O TV's have hidden away? Half of the so called features pre-loaded onto the DTV homepage are useless.

Nice find. It works great.  Thanks for informing us.

Now I hope B&O will add it to the real source list of the TV, instead of only an App within the Webmedia source. Like YouTube, Spotify etc. So you can select it at once via your remote.

BeoVision 11-55, BeoLab 8000, BeoRemote One BT, AppleTV 4, 2x BeoPlay A2, BeoPlay A1

Not so enthusiastic about it!

Tried it out yesterday.

Well, if you don't have an iDevice and an AirPlay receiver (connected to the tv), it is better than nothing.

I did not find my favourite station 'Radio Paradise', and I could only find a couple of the (many) stations from DR (danish radio broadcast), I usually listen to.

Why so, is a mystery, because I have been using them via the native TuneIN app on my iPad for ages.

Having to turn on a web media section and to navigate to an app there, just to listen to radio, is not what I expect from a solution on a B&O tv!

(Net)radio must be an integrated part of the interface (like on the Avant) with direct access via remote (radio button and number), before I lay off of using the excellent interface of the TuneIN app and AirPlay.

However, thanks for mentioning it - it might be usefull to some of the BV11/V1 users.

Yes it's not perfect but, as said, still better than nothing.

A direct access would be great.

I wanted that device for ages to listen in the leaving room to the texas radio stations I loved when I was 15 years old. I used my Beolit 15, now I also have the choice of BV11. Good. Direct Aux. cable on BS 9000 (with iphone) as a bad sound quality.

I agree that there are a lot of stations missing. I prefer to navigate more precise lists (like on the Olive One) for internet radio..

Is there a proper search function buried somewhere in the TV Tunein app?

@Graham

The search function is with the usual possibilities in both apps - but it is much easier to type on the iDevice, than with the remote on the tv (and it finds 'my stations').

If you don't already know the (iOS) app, you should try that!

I suspect it will become a main source on all products within the next few weeks as its heavily featured as the first source in the new BeoLink hierarchy list after the join functionWink

BeoGreg, that's really strange as I find NRJ Funky to be one of the most stable/consistent stations on my iPhone 4S.  Hopefully B&O will sort it out :)

I reckon the new Apple TV box will have TuneIn too :)

I've just tried Lounge-Radio.com on my BeoVision 11 and it doesn't start up.

I am not sure who is responsible for the operation of an app on the Smart platform. I will report it to B&O to see what they suggest but the app points at contacting tunein themselves.

The net radio source in my BeoVision Avant plays both stations above pas problem!?

Are you all finding this as an app to add?

Or have you gone to their web page?

Anyone in the U.S.?

Can't find it in the US, I checked as soon as I found this thread. The app doesn't appear at all for me.

It doesn't appear in the App gallery link, but it came up when I typed in Tunein into the search box (top right). In fact it auto completed as tunein radio after I had typed the first three letters.

But how do you know what additional apps are available if there are more like TuneIn that don't show up in the app gallery? In the UK you still cannot get the ITV player or Channel 4OD, although 4OD will now let you mirror from an iPad to Apple TV, which you couldn't do before.

Silly me. The search facility is a big box, top left!

Try to change the country pressing green on the Beo 4. I found it in "France".

I could only find TuneIn through a search, and I still cannot find it as an app available under any country in the green list.

Also, regarding Radio Paradise referred to above, yes, it doesn't show up, although dozens of stations with the name Paradise somewhere in the name do!

I just did a search on the Smart Alliance and on the Opera system used by B&O: there still do not seem to be many apps listed anywhere despite this being promoted as a massive platform for app developers. Of thos pre-loaded onto the BV11, facebook no longer works (you have to physically remove it with the red button...... I am not a user, but it still appears in several country lists despite no longer working) and another app I've already forgotten that appeared with a no access sign across it.

Seems that they/B&O have lost interest in that platform (and I do understand it!).

Probably preparing for something else on a new tv.

I for one don't understand it. There are more useful apps and services on a YouView box provided at no cost by the likes of BT and TalkTalk in the UK.

Smart TV as a platform should be, for the most part hardware agnostic. Hopefully whatever "new" ideas B&O have will be rolled out across their television line.
