Hi,
Last week I took delivery of a mint 2300/2500 combo. Sourced a excellent condition 1000 remote on eBay which arrived yesterday.
Seems the right thing to do is to display it, rather then leave it flat. So I drew up a quick design, trying to keep it minimal. Cut itout on my laser cutter, painted it then cut some foam detail to make it all snug.
Turned out ok for a Sunday afternoon project.
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
Thanks.
I can post the CAD files as pdfs, that any laser cutter place can cut out ouf 3mm acrylic. The foam is "Funky foam 1mm", and the silver accents on the sides are 1mm styrene.
Cheers.
What was the total material cost?
Would you take an order? ;)
Hi.
Material cost was N/A as i have this stuff lying around.
I can cut one out for you and send it out flat packed. That way you can assemble it? It just needs some UHU glue for the foam and some superglue for the acrylic. Unless I devise a better way of assembling. I wanted to avoid screws. I did paint mine, only because I had odd colour acrylic in stock.
