Personally, I found the BL 12.3 more dynamic without the BL 11. It seems that BL have a filter that cut the neutrality of the speaker.

Maybe Geoff Martin can inform us ?

I don't know what the "neutrality" of a loudspeaker is. I suspect that, if you find that BeoLab 12-3's sound less "dynamic" (I'll assume that this means less "punchy" or with less bass???) with a BeoLAb 11, then the reason has more to do with loudspeaker placement than the actual performance of the loudspeakers themselves. There is also the issue of which of the three positions are set on the switches of both the BL11 and the BL12-3.

How were the speakers connected - respectively?

The 12's to the BL11 and to a BeoSound..?

Or to the dedicated PL-outputs of a BeoSystem -  if yes, to a BSys3 or 4?
