My dealer have had some delivery problems with a Beosound Essence I ordered a while ago. Apparently they experienced this week that a new version of the Essence will be available soon, hence the delivery issues. He mentioned something about support for some new wireless Link functionality in the new Essence. Couldn't find anything online, do you guys know anything about this?
That has been known for a while now.
But still no release date - probably soon/with the coming 'multi room update' of the BS Moment.
The A9 has already gotten this 'treatment', and is now called BeoPlay A9 2nd Generation.

Still no release date? That can't be good, I was supposed to use the Essence with the BL15&16 that are installed tomorrow. So is this basically multi room functionality that will work with Moment and future products? Not sure if it is worth it for me to wait for the new version as the AD suggested. I use a Playmaker an two preamps for Meg current three "zones"; none of which will probably work with multi room, I suppose.
Right, then I won't be able to enjoy music on the new bathroom for several weeks, that's too bad.. Thanks, though.
