BV 7-32 back light leaking

Seems like the back light of my BV 7 is "leaking" and it seems to be getting progressively worse:(

I have attached a photo of the screen. It is bad when looking from the side. Viewing from the front isn't bad but one side of the screen its starting to show a bit.

Online some forums say tapping or rubbing the screen? Unfortunately that is not possible with this TV because of the extra glass in the front.

Any ideas?

By the looks of that no amount of rubbing or tapping the screen even if you took the glass off would get rid of that, it look lik really bad backlight bleed.
