As per title, one of my BeoLab 4000 speakers is not delivering any sound. They are connect to my BV11 TV and switch on automatically when the TV is switched on but there is no sound out of one of them. Interestingly when I press the green light power switch to turn it off whilst the TV is on there is momentary sound before it fully turns off.
Any ideas what might be going on? Thanks.
Welcome to Beoworld.
Has it been working OK and then just failed? Have you tried swapping the Powerlink cables between the two speakers to see if the problem is cable/TV Powerlink output related or actually the speaker that's the issue. If there was a speaker problem, normally the power light would go orange.
Are they daisychained? If one PL cable works OK you should be able to just run a second PL cable from the working speaker to the other one in series. The PL cable carries both L and R channels and the speaker settings dictate L or R (also check the switches on the rear) .
Have you checked the sound/speaker settings on the TV and tried the 'hiss' test to make sure that the channel is working OK? Try removing the PL cables and putting them back in again. Sometimes just a loose connection can do this.

I have tired a separate (spare) Powerlink cable from the TV to the speaker and the same problem occurs. The light is not orange. Are they daisychained? The faulty speaker is the first in the cabin from the TV. The switches on the rear are correctly set for left and right. Dave. Thanks Dave

There are about 3 different fuses in the BL4000. You could try changing them. There are some threads on here regarding the BL4000 and one from 2014 mentions these as well as replacing the standby transformer. Maybe worth a read.

A trip to the repair shop may be needed - possibly for a new amp.
