Great, so adding an airport express or a playmaker will even make the BLC airplay-capable. And (even better than the Essence) will even allow it to distribute spotify or others over NL.
I've been following this thread in hopes Apple Music supports multiroom one day.
I have a thought concerning Apple Music and multi room. In theory, if the Essence/Moment supports iTunes library and you can add/download songs to your iTunes library with Apple Music, it would always update your iTunes with the downloaded music. Right? You just couldn't stream from Apple Music directly.
Apple Music offline download contain DRM and are not playable in the Beomusic app.
Millemissen: If it comes to using a workaround, (instead of airplaying to the ATV of the tv), I'd rather connect an AirPortExpress alternatively a Playmaker to the line-in of the Essence. Anything connected to the line-in can be distributed on the NL. MM

millemissen, my hero!!!
yesterday i replaced the overwhelming beolit 15 with an A6 (mainly for Multiroom-reasons), was wondering the whole evening how to get AirPlay connected within BeoMusic and then i've read your post, smile. picked up this afternoon an old AirportExpress from a pigeonhole, connected it with the NL/ML converter, did some settings and here we are: Apple Music simoultanesly in every room!
Thanks alot

coming to this late, apologies....never been much of a multi room user beyond simple cases.....but with three zones now, wanted to start playing with multi room and the BeoMusic app.....got confused why i couldn't share Tidal streamed from my iPhone to one room with others.......found this useful document from B&O online....didnt mention Tidal, but with Apple Music, mentions legal limitations from Apple preventing multi room (though i guess that translates as paying for the rights, off Sonos can do it)........

anyway, seems like i stumbled across the same workaround as others.....airplay whatever i want (Tidal / BBC iPlayer Radio) to my Apple TV in my lounge (part of my BV12/65/ BS 4 setup), and then everything shares........
(aware that i can use a MBP and a third party app like Airfoil, as have in the past, just wanted to start using the BeoMusic app and multi room properly, not always with my MBP)...
would love to exclude the lounge from the equation, just airplay to the A9 and share with the BS2......
familiar ground i guess for many, but sigh, why oh why so nearly but not quite perfect......
Apple Music seldom provide API to connect with other sevices.... The only way to do this is use TunesKit Audio Converter but it is a process with a lot of hassles...

Apple is a closed ecosystem. It is hard to see its update for the integration with other programs. DRmare Apple music converter seems a good alternative though It's a little complex to use.
