I have recently purchased a Beomaster 6500 and discovered that my Beogram 5005 turntable needs a pre-amp.  I have found a few phono preamp RIAAs on Ebay that have 5 pin din plugs.  Is it possible to have been changed over to a seven pin so that the data link could be used?

Someone on ebay sells a kit, alternatively I'd bet that Steve @ Sounds Heavenly could make one up - it would require a 7PIN Din socket to accept the beogram, breakout to four phono's for the preamp, a lead running through for the two data pins and then back into a 7PIN din plug to go into the beomaster - maybe he already has one?

Hi Chris,

No problem!  I can build a special version of my pre-amp kit that includes the Datalink wiring to control a Beogram 5005 from the Beomaster 6500 - please drop me a line at www.soundsheavenly.com if this is of interest.

Kind regards, Steve.

Steve.
