B&O 8002 speakers

My B&O store  is offering ex-display 8002 speakers, apparently never switched on, for £2500.  Made just before they were discontinued.  A few scratches on top caps, otherwise immaculate

 

they will give me £200 in p/e for my 6000s

 

i know it's not a bargain, but a reasonable price?

Sounds expensive. Why do you want to exchange them? They sound about the same as BL8000 and you can get used ones for a much better price. The price you got is closer to what Bl18 costs with the turn in discount they are running now.

BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

Thanks for this, and you are quite right, they are expensive especially for discontinued speakers.  I have decided against it
