For all of you who are looking for this tube Tuner here is a rare chance to get it. Not the nicest specimen but also not so bad IMO:
http://www.lauritz.com/en/auction/b-o-minette-609-k-tuner/i3886557/?FromLogin=1#
No, I am not the seller and unfortunately I do not have opportunity to bid for it.
Probaly only for you lucky guys in Denmark...
Cheers
Vintage Bang & Olufsen
The item is only 2km from me but ..I know this unit (it has been up for sale elsewhere for months!).I also know the owners "methods", and so does at least one other Beoworlder.
My advice: Take care with this one.I am not going to bid.
Martin
Hi Martin,
Yes, I think I saw this unit on the DBA.dk too. Or at least it have had also the "Fona" sticker on the front of the wooden case.
BTW: does the Lauritz offer to see items which are listed on their web site before the auction ends?
If yes and it is so near to you, I would visit them and take a look on to the tuner. There are no opportunity to get this rare beast every day...
Which "methods" do you mean?
Yes, it was on DBA.I was in contact with the seller. As was another Beoworlder (who came before me and for whom I was actually trying to buy it).
This is not the place to discuss the "methods" I am referring to, cause they aren't nice, but I can tell you that, first I could not buy the item, then I wouldn't...The other Beoworlder had a somewhat similar experience.Yes, you can go to Lauritz and look at the items but I don't need to look anymore at this item. There will come another.
Ok, I think I know what "methods" you meant.
If this Minette is the same I saw few months ago on the DBA (I can not be sure though) than I could say also few words about it.
But you are probably right, this is not the best place to discuss it.
If you think that this was actually free advertising for the seller, who do not deserved it, I would agree if you delete this thread as moderator.
I leave it to you to decide...

Not bad (for the seller)!
He got 3400 DKK (approx. EUR 456). I am not sure if it was "tuned by Lauritz" auction again. I mean, some time ago MINT one Minette 609K was sold on Ebay for ca. 500€ and for this one you can not even say if it has anything in its wooden case. Obviously people are ready to pay for the risk...
What you suggest could hopefully be true in this case.I hope it wasn't bought by a fellow Beoworlder.
