Hi,

I recently bought a BV11 and I am very pleased with it so far except that for my room (30 square meters) I miss a little bit of bass. I was just wondering if by any chance some of you have BL11 connected to a BV11? Would that help? I don't want to spend too much money adding extra speakers or sub and BL11 seemed to be a good option. In your opinion, is it worth considering it?

Thanks

FREDPERT

I would suggest also considering a BeoPlay S8 or a BL14 system as both provide an excellent and relatively cost effective way of enhancing the bass of the BV11. I have my BV11 connected to two BL8000 (fronts) and a Beolab 14 2.1 (sub and rears) and the BL14 has really lifted the bass. From what I hear the BL14 / S8 deliver significantly better bass for films than the BL11..

I have a BL11 connected to my BV11. Definitely worth it.

Watch out for the 'BeoVision 11 (Story developing)' thread.

User KMA had his BV11 set up with a BL11.

A BV 11 without other Beolabs BL 11 is absolutely enough. BL 19 only together with 4 or at least 2 additional Beolabs.

Just my two cents.

How about turning up the bass a few notches in a speaker group?

See if you can do that before if. You don't want to add extra speakers / sub.

Thanks everyone,

Agree, BL11 might be enough with BV11. I don't want to add too many speakers and the sound of BV11 is already great.

I twicked a little bit the bass and it's already better, thanks Michael... So I will think twice before I press the button because it's 1500 euros more to spend.

And I still have to find the best option for my music setup upstairs. Not so sure about the BL4 PC anymore. I also look towards portable speakers like Beolit 15 / Beoplay A2 or even VIFA Copenhagen (great scandinavian design as well) it might be more versatile than BL4 with a comparable sound performance.

The good thing about the bl15 and a2 is they're portable.
